It’s not just a southern thing, or even a western hemisphere tradition. Fanatic Crazies countdown the day when they can transform their look with a team jersey, metallic beads, colorful face paint, and a neon-dyed afro wig – it’s Gameday! Although they are not harmful, be warned these Fanatic Crazies swarm around stadiums and arenas and are often seen antagonizing the opposing team. Because of their massive population, there is no way of getting rid of them. If you or anyone you know see any Fanatic Crazies you are advised to send us a photo to share, like some did below.

“Going Green” is a popular trend happening across the globe. “Going Green” means taking steps to reduce one’s negative effect on the environment. Odds are you’ve already incorporated some green methods into your household, so today let’s look at tips on how we can turn your office green. Depending on the physical and employee size of your office, you may have to make special adjustments.

1. Cut Down on Transportation – Carbon dioxide is the number one contributor to the greenhouse effect, and cars produce about 30 percent of the nation’s carbon dioxide emissions. Offer your employees incentives for carpooling or riding a bike to work.

2. Monitor Lighting Usage – According to a US Department of Energy (DOE) end use study from 1995, lighting accounts for about 29 percent of the energy use in a typical office. Replace your old lightbulbs with new energy efficient fluorescent bulbs. Also, make sure lights are turned off in non-working space and during non-working hours.

3. Monitor Paper Usage – A ton of 100 percent recycled paper saves the equivalent of 4,100 kWh of energy, 7,000 gallons of water, 60 pounds of air emissions, and three cubic yards of landfill space. Several ways to monitor your paper usage include: making hard copies only when needed, use double-sided printing, and buy recycled paper.

4. Monitor the Thermostat – Heating, cooling and ventilation accounts for 39 percent of the energy use in a typical office. This tip not only helps the environment but also means big savings on your electric bill. Try using automatic setback thermostats to adjust the temp during non-business hours. Also, keep the blinds closed in the winter time to conserve heat.

All offices can “go green” by following the simple tips above. The best way to get things rolling in your office to to put one person incharge of “going green.” He or she can monitor thermostats and paper usage, help set up carpools, and turn off the lights before leaving the office.

A few weeks ago I went out to a college football game. The weather was a little windy and as the game got further into the night, the temperature was dropping fast. The usual fashions of slit-cut shirts, team-colored polo dresses, and logo tanks paired with a mini jean skirt were no where to be found – it was way too cold. Instead I saw these first pick items that surely weren’t “benched” on the sideline.

Here are five items that should be a part of your Fall Gameday Wardrobe:

1. Great Tote – proudly show your team spirit while carrying your must-haves to the game.
2. Fitted Jacket – the frumpy old coat has to go. Trade it out for a fitted jacket to show off those sexy curves.
3.Classic earrings – accessorize your threads with fun team studs.
4.Scarf – cozy up with a woven favorite on those chilly gamedays.
5.White Shirt – no matter if it’s a turtleneck or button-up; a classic white shirt can always be paired with fitted denim, or dressed up with slacks for those exclusive skybox socials.

All of these items and more can be found on footballfanatics.com. For a limited time, shop now and receive free shipping on orders over $75!

One of the many traditions most Americans celebrate on Thanksgiving is football. Families and friends arrange backyard games, and millions watch football on TV before and after their meals. There are three Thanksgiving Day games this year in the NFL. Detroit and Dallas play ever year, with the third game being rotated yearly.

Tennessee (10-1) vs. Detroit (0-11) at 12:30 PM EST
Seattle (2-9) vs Dallas (7-4) at 4:15 PM EST
Arizona (7-4) vs. Philadelphia (5-5-1) at 8:15 PM EST

The first two games will be broadcast on CBS and Fox, but the night game will be aired on NFL Network. That’s a bummer because the Arizona vs. Philly game is the most intriguing, yet not many people have access to the NFL Network.

I think Detroit is going to come out and play strong. They are far inferior to the Titans team, but on Thanksgiving in Detroit, anything can happen. Detroit has one of the best young wide receivers in Calvin Johnson. It will be fun to see how he matches up with a tough Titans secondary.

Since Tony Romo’s return to the Dallas Cowboys, they have won two NFC games in a row over Washington and San Francisco. Seattle must bring their “A” game if they want to compete with the Cowboys. They need to pick whether to try to stop the run or stop the pass. Either way, the Seahawks must fire on all cylinders or Dallas will beat them with their many weapons.

My score predictions for the games:

Tennessee 28 Detroit 7
Seattle 10 Dallas 31
Arizona 35 Philadelphia 31

Happy Thanksgiving!
