The LSU Tigers are 2009 College World Series Champions. The Texas Longhorns took the series to 3 games, but the Tigers offense was just too much. LSU got off to a quick start putting up 3 runs in the first inning. A 5-run sixth inning virtually put the game out of reach. This is the sixth national title for the Tigers.
