Favorite Tailgaiting Foods

12 November 2009 Posted by David 627 views No Comment

Tailgating is one of the best football traditions. Heck, some people just head to the stadium to tailgate and don’t even go to the games. They just hang out and enjoy great food and drinks. A lot goes into the planning of a good tailgate. You need to prep the food, set up the tent, fire up the grill and gather your friends and family. Some common tailgating foods are burgers, hot dogs, ribs, chili, and wings.

I asked our Twitter followers what their favorite tailgating foods are. Here are a few responses:

@LilBitSassy – In Pitts, it’s usually kielbasas and kraut. Oh, and beer. Lots and lots of beer.

@ATL_Todd – Wings and beer.

@CalvinNelson87 – Chili Dogs! Oooh yeah!

@AceDaMan – Bacon Cheeseburger with Nachos and Salsa…and of course a good beer to push it down!

@Edhe – grilled hot sausage

@AdHustler – steaks for sure.
