The 2010 Winter Olympics are only a few weeks away. The games will be held February 12–28, 2010 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. This will be the second time Canada has hosted the Winter Games. Some of my favorite Winter Olympic events include downhill skiing, snowboarding, hockey (I love that they use NHL players), ski jumping and bobsledding. Bobsledding is fun to watch because it is so dangerous – they shoot down those ice tracks going so fast… one wrong move and they’re in big trouble.

What are some of the winter games you’re looking forward to? Do you love the women’s figure skating? Or maybe curling? I don’t really get curling and how that is considered a sport, but I guess it’s played by nations around the world so why not include it in the Olympics.
