Mark McGwire Admits Steroid Use
Former Oakland A’s and St. Louis Cardinals slugger Mark McGwire has finally admitted to steroid use during his baseball year. McGwire is currently employed by the Cardinals as a hitting coach and was just snubbed by Baseball Hall of Fame Voters for the third year in a row. I think he finally realized that if he wants to make the HOF, he needs to come clean and stop denying what we all knew was the truth.
Mark McGwire is 8th on the all-time homerun list with 582 and he averaged a home run once every 10.61 at bats – which is the best of all-time. McGwire was never a high average hitter, but man he could mash the ball. Remember back in 1998, he broke Roger Maris’s single season homerun record? Well, now we know he was juiced during that season. There’s no telling how good Mark could have been without the roids.
“I wish I had never touched steroids. It was foolish and it was a mistake. I truly apologize. Looking back, I wish I had never played during the steroid era,” McGwire said. I think it’s funny he said that because most baseball fans/historians consider him and Jose Canseco as the two players who started the whole steroid era.
I still flip flop on whether or not I think steroid users should be included in the Hall of Fame. What is your opinion? Should they be let in? Post a comment and let me know.

I think it’s good that he came clean.

A Fanatics Customer Says:
"I just wanted to write and thank you for your excellent customer service. I purchased a custom jersey on Monday afternoon and you jumped through hoops so that I would get it today as promised! You even called several times to let me know where it was in the process and the product is exactly what I expected. Thank you! I look forward to doing much more business with you."
