After sweeping the NBA’s defending champions the Dallas Mavericks 4-0 in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs, the Thunder gave away only one game to the Lakers; closing out the Western Conference Semifinals 4-1. The Conference Finals saw Oklahoma City in an unusual spot, down 2-0 to the San Antonio Spurs. But it was not to be for the Spurs, as Kevin Durant and company ran a 4-game win streak through San Antonio and into the NBA Finals.
